Voting Question: I have a bench warrant in Nevada for failure to appear?

I have a failure to appear bench warrant in Carson CIty NV. My question is I need to get my drivers license and I do need to take care of this warrant. I know I can pay a $700 something fine and that may just get rid of the warrant. If I turn myself in, can I just serve time to fulfill the fine? If so how long will it take? Also could it be possible that I can go to the dmv to get my DL or will I go in and be told no? I will be turning myself in as soon as I can but would like to be able to prepare for how long I may have to be in jail.
